The pooja event for Honey Rose’s upcoming film ‘Rachel’ was held yesterday. The first look poster of the film had generated a lot of interest on social media. In the poster, Honey Rose has an intense look and is seen holding a bloody knife in a butcher shop. The creepy setting also adds to the intrigue.
Honey says that the eponymous character, Rachel, is the most powerful character she has played to date. She said: “I am delighted to be associated with the project and to play such a strong character as Rachel. I can’t reveal much about the character right now, but it’s something I’ve never done before.”
Honey is also excited to work with a female director for the first time. “I am delighted to play this strong character in the direction of Anandini Bala, who is also making her debut as a filmmaker. I have been approached by two female directors in the past to play the lead in their films. However, unfortunately, these films did not materialise,” says Honey.
