Rajko Grlić is shooting his latest film, It All Ends Here

– The veteran director’s latest film will be a love story, a crime drama and a thriller all rolled into one, set in contemporary Zagreb

On Tuesday, September 19, veteran Croatian director Rajko Grlic has started shooting for his latest film, titled It all ends here, located in Zagreb. “I’m glad that my last film will be a love story deeply immersed in Croatian reality,” Grlić said at the start of filming.

It all ends here tells the story of a successful lawyer who clashes with a powerful client. Although he risks losing everything, he does not give up. In terms of genre, the film combines the elements of a love story, a crime drama and a thriller. The script was written by the director in collaboration with the author Come on Tomicand marks their fourth upcoming collaboration Border Station (2006), Right Between Us [+see also:

(2016), the latter had a prolific festival tour and a long theatrical run. It all ends here based on the novel Beyond reasonwritten by Miroslav Krleza in 1938, while the adaptation takes the plot to our modern times.

Protagonists in the film are Živko Anočić, Jelena Đokić, Boris Isakovich, Emir Hadjihafizbegovic, Srđan Grahovac, Katarina Bistrovic Darvas, Ksenija Marinković, Marina Redzepovic, Angela Nedialkova, Anita Schmitt, Doris Šarić Kukuljica, Siniša Ružićand Dejan Jonkovic. As for the crew, the film will be seen from the lens Branco Lindailluminated by Milos Jovanovicwhile the audio will be recorded from Momchilo Bozhkov. Zelica Buric handles production-design, and Morana Starcevic the costuming, while Ana Bulajić Črček serves as a make-up artist.

He is the producer of the film Ivan Malotsa for his company Interfilm from Zagreb. RRF International (Bulgaria), Oktavijan (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Saudade Film (Turkey), West End Production (Serbia) and ABHO (Montenegro) are co-producers of the film. It all ends here also received financial support from the Croatian Audiovisual Center.
