Bollywood livewire star Ranveer Singh shared a moving note after the trailer for his upcoming film “83” garnered immense love and appreciation from fans. The actor is honored to be part of the cinematic narrative of the iconic story of the players who brought home the World Cup in 1983.
Ranveer plays the legendary leader of the Indian cricket team Kapil Dev, who led the outsider to the coveted glory of the 1983 World Cup as he defeated the mighty West Indies team in the finals at the Lord cricket court.

Directed by Kabir Khan, “83” is set to be released on December 24, 2021.
