Shefali Shah shared her thoughts on the age difference in Bollywood when it comes to roles offered to male and female actors. In a recent interview, the “Delhi Crime” actress stressed how women, after a certain age, were only offered mother-aunt roles, while men in their 50s continued to write leading roles. Speaking to a news portal, Shefali Shah revealed that she played Akshay Kumar’s mother in “Waqt” when she was about 28 years old. And after a while, the actress refused the movies and decided that if she does not get the job she wants, she will stay home.

Recently, the actress opened a restaurant in Ahmedabad. Speaking of what Shefali had told ETimes, “I always thought life was a celebration. I like to entertain people and decorate restaurants. In addition, I am a food lover. So everything came together and everything fell into place. It took me less than a month to fix the place. “My sister Neha has been involved with hospitality and she also deals with that.”

On the professional front, Shefali Shah enjoys a busy schedule. The actress will appear in Junglee Pictures’ “Doctor G” with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh and has “Darlings” with Alia Bhatt and Vijay Verma.
