After the cinemas got a green signal in Maharashtra, several Bollywood movies announced new release dates.
Up to 14 films have shared the release dates after Maharashtra Prime Minister Uddhav Thackrey said cinemas could reopen this October.
Sooryavanshi opened the gate. On Saturday afternoon, Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar announced that Sooryavanshi will take over Diwali’s weekend this year. The film will be followed by Bunty Aur Babli 2. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari, Yash Raj Films is expected to be released on November 19.
On Sunday, Aamir Khan confirmed that Laal Singh Chaddha is no longer watching a 2021 Christmas release. Instead, the film will be released on 2022 Valentine’s Day.
Ranveer Singh will take over the Christmas slot machine with his ’83 sports drama. December would be full of cricket fever as Shahid Kapoor confirmed that the Jersey cricket movie will be released on December 31, 2021. The first movie of Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, Tadap will be released on December 3.
The first quarter of 2022 has a stellar series. Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj has a release date of January 21st. So far, this is the only January release of the year. Ranveer Laal Singh Chaddha and Ranayer Jayeshbhai Jordaar are scheduled for February 25.
Akshay will return in March with Bachchan Pandey. The film is expected to be released on March 4. Ranbir Kapoor will make his return after three years with Shershaah in March as well. The film will be released in theaters on March 18. Kartik Aaryan will also take over the box office with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 before the end of the financial year. The film is expected to be released on March 25.

Summer has KGF 2, set for April 14th. Ajay Devgn May Day on April 29. and Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2, which will be released on May 6. Several high-budget films such as Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra and Pathan have not yet revealed their release dates.
