Few movies in the Marvel Movie Universe have created an ad campaign that follows Tom Holland starring Spider-Man: No Way Home he’s got. The film deals with the multiverse and at least includes superheroes from both previous Spider-Man live-action movie series, led by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church and Rhys Ifans will play Green Goblin, Doctor Otto Octavious, Electro, Sandman and Lizard, respectively. Benedict Cumberbatch Doctor Strange replaces Tony Stark as Peter Parker’s mentor.
Fans expect (and hope) that Maguire and Garfield will reprise their roles as Spidey as well. Their presence is said to be the film’s worst kept secret. Fans share theories about this and other possibilities.

The film’s marketing knows this and makes fun of the poor fans. A new photo released from the film on the official Twitter handle shows Spidey and Zendaya, who plays Mitchell ‘MJ’ Jones in the film. In the background, there is a skyscraper on one side and a spot is highlighted in red.

In a video posted earlier on the handle, two hosts talk about fans’ theories about the film. They obviously do not explicitly mention Maguire and Garfield, but talk about more bizarre theories such as how Spidey will play a bun in the movie or how he has a new podcast in which he wants listeners to “run” from listeners.
Earlier, a video with Holland had the actor talk to the audience with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon and joked about who else the fans were waiting for.
Also starring Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, among others, Spider-Man No Way Home is expected to be released on December 16th.
