Spotify has released a “Netflix Hub” with soundtracks, playlists, podcasts and exclusive content related to programming in the video streaming service.
Netflix and Spotify have was announced a brand new “Netflix Hub on Spotify” for Netflix fans to access original soundtracks, playlists and podcasts of their favorite series and movies, along with exclusive content from Spotify.
Spotify’s Netflix node is available to both Spotify Premium subscribers and free users (although in the latter case, you should listen to ads between songs) and includes songs from popular shows such as Squid Game, Cowboy Bebop, Bridgerton, and more. A selection of official Netflix podcasts have also landed on the streaming platform.
Both Netflix and Spotify see the Netflix Hub as an opportunity to take advantage of the success of the large number of Netflix prototypes. “Today’s fashion shows and movies not only inspire fans, but also fuel obsessions across the internet,” Spotify tells the center. The company reports its overwhelming viewership Squid toy as a recent example of this obsession.
In addition to playlists associated with popular movies and series, there are exclusives such as an “enhanced album experience” associated with Western action The harder they fall. Jay-Z hosts a behind-the-scenes look at the film’s soundtrack and exclusive footage from artists such as Kid Cudi, Koffee and Lauren Hill. Also, as the second part of his last season La Casa De Papel (Money Robbery) arrives, new video casts and a playlist of tracks from the latest episodes appear in the center along with a quiz based on the series’ characters.
Having a central location for all Netflix listening content will benefit both Netflix and Spotify. Companies are right: Netflix fans are keen and eager for more of the content they can get from the Netflix app.
