Gadar 2 The film, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, raked in over Rs 16 crore on Sunday, taking its total to Rs 456.05 crore, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said. Gadar 2 now the “triumph march” towards 500 crore begins, with massive circuits driving ticket sales. The film also set another record – it has grabbed the fastest 450 crore mark among all Hindi released films including Baahubali 2. Gadar 2which released on August 11, is currently at number three on the list of highest grossing Hindi films.

Over the weekend, Taran Adarsh reported that Gadar 2 it would break the record for the fastest 450 crore Bollywood with its earnings at the end of Sunday or Day 17. Now it leaves Pathan (Day 18) in second place and Baahubali 2 (Day 20) on the third.

Gadar 2 it has also surpassed the lifetime earnings of its Hindi version KGF: Chapter 2.

Gadar 2 has another weekend in theaters ahead of Shah Rukh Khan Jawan enough to challenge its supremacy at the box office.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 Starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as Tara Singh and Sakeena, reprising their roles from the 2002 original Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Utkarsh Sharma plays their son in the sequel with Simrat Kaur cast as his love interest.
