Thalapathy Vijay, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi to come together in BIGGEST COMBINATION ever in South cinema: Bollywood News

Today stars the makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna NBK107 announced the title of the film. The Shruti Haasan starrer is titled Veer Simha Reddy and will hit the big screens on Sankranti 2023. Interestingly, three other big releases are slated for the same date which include Mega 154 starring Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Prabhas Adipurushand Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu. While the releases wanted to cash in on the festive season, it looks like South cinema is all set to experience one of its biggest clashes ever with four superstars hitting the theaters on the same date.

I am coming in Veer Simha Reddy, the film features Nandamuri Balakrishna along with Shruti Haasan. Previously referred to as NBK107, the film is touted as a massive action entertainer. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in this project which is slated to be made on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers and also stars Duniya Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Chandrika Ravi among others from the ensemble cast.

Secondly, Mega154 is an as-yet-untitled title. The film will bring together two big names of Telugu cinema. One is megastar Chiranjeevi and other is popular star Ravi Teja. Interestingly, this film too has Shruti Haasan playing the female lead. It is highly hyped to be an action drama with Chiranjeevi as a smuggler and Ravi as a cop. Again produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is directed by director Bobby.

Talking about Varisu, the film is bilingual with Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. The film, which also has a title Vaarasundou in Telugu, it has an extensive ensemble cast that includes Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Shaam, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

Talking about Adipurush, the film is a Pan India film with extensive VFX that narrates the epic battle of Ramayana. While Prabhas has the role of Ram, Kriti Sanon plays Seeta while Saif Ali Khan plays Lankeshwar aka Raavan in this Om Raut directorial. While a teaser was released recently, the film is expected to release on January 12, 2023.
