The film’s plot synopsis says it will follow three friends – a doctor (Bale), a nurse (Margot Robbie) and a lawyer (John David Washington) who “witness a murder, become suspicious and uncover one of the most outrageous conspiracies in America. history”.
In addition to the three leads, there are many other big names in the film’s supporting cast, including Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya-Taylor Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Rami Malek, Robert De Niro, Taylor Swift, Timothy Olyphant and Zoe Saldaña.
