Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for The Matrix Resurrections. The trailer accompanies the confirmation that tickets for the fourth Matrix movie will be released on December 6th. Lana Wachowski returns to write and direct the film The Matrix Resurrections. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprise their respective roles as Neo and Trinity from the original Matrix trilogy. The new trailer refers to a line from the original The Matrix repeating the phrase, “What happens when they change something?” Fans are likely to remember that changes to the Matrix code cause a sense of deja vu to those who inhabit it. This may have something to do with recent comments by co-author David Mitchell The Matrix Resurrections is more than a traditional sequel.
“I saw the film in Berlin in September,” Mitchell said To Vima. “It’s very good. I can’t tell you what the movie is about, but I could explain what it’s not. “It’s a very beautiful and strange creation. It also achieves some things that we don’t see in action movies, that is, it breaks the rules of blockbusters.”
