Paramount+ released a new trailer for The return of the Thundermansis scheduled to premiere on March 7. The upcoming film will serve as a sequel to the beloved Nickelodeon sitcom, with the original cast members returning.
Directed by Trevor Kirschner, the film will mark the long-awaited return of the superhero family The Thundermans. The series created by Jed Spingarn, which is considered one of the most watched series on television, aired from October 2013 to May 2018 and spanned four seasons.
The upcoming film will feature the original cast from the Nickelodeon series, including Kira Kosarin as Phoebe, Jack Griffo as Max, Addison Riecke as Nora, Diego Velazquez as Billy, Maya Le Clark as Chloe, Chris Tallman as Hank and Rosa Blasi as Barb . .

What is The Thundermans Return?
Similar to the series, The Thundermans Return will follow the eponymous superhero family as they embark on a crime-fighting adventure in the fictional city of Hiddenville.
The official synopsis for The Thundermans Return reads: “Thundermans Return follows twins Phoebe and Max as they enjoy their superhero lifestyle in a new town, but when a 'save' goes wrong, the Thundermans are sent back to Hiddenville. While Hank and Barb enjoy their return, Chloe forms a new group of friends, and Billy and Nora begin a normal high school life, Max and Phoebe are determined to reclaim their superhero status. The film features the return of beloved series, including familiar locations and new menacing super-villains.”
The film is executive produced by series creator Spingarn, along with Dan Cross, David Hogg and series stars Kosarin and Griffo.
The Thundermans Return will premiere on both Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.
