Short film starring Tom Holland Last callwill reportedly premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Last call, is directed by Tom Holland’s younger brother Harry Holland. The film also stars Lindsey Duncan.
What is Last Call about?
The main plot of the short film, Last call, deals with a mother – Kate – who is desperately trying to reconnect with her son. Kate is haunted by her past and searches for answers. These answers may determine the course of her future. The film’s official description reads: “Walking into an apparent void, Kate will finally have the chance to ask the questions that have haunted her past and will decide her future.” Last call will premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
Harry’s approach to the film
Last call is reported to deal with the issue of mental health. Harry wanted to be precise in the projection and depiction of his subjects. His creative calls for the short film have been heavily influenced by information and evidence he has gathered through his interactions with charities and individuals with the short film in mind.
Harry’s experience as a director
Last call is not Harry Holland’s first outing as a director. He has also directed another short film, In the middle of the night, having also appeared in mini-documentaries and music videos. He has also played brief roles in films such as Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021 and Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. He has also starred in Cherry, Uncharted and The improbable. Now he has directed older brother Tom Holland in his next short film, Last call. Tom Holland last appeared in a 2022 film Uncharted. We will see him later in the year The crowded room, for which he is also an executive producer.
Last call co-signed by Will South. The film is produced by Marie-Elena Dyche. It stars Harry’s older brother, actor Tom Holland alongside Lindsay Duncan. The Tribeca Film Festival will take place from June 7th to the 18th.
