Udhyanidhi Stalin was a busy bee and divided his days between politics and cinema to remain active in both fields. However, the actress revealed in a recent interview that “Maamannan” will be her last film as an actor. It seems that it is quite difficult for Udhayanidhi to balance cinema and politics and he decided to leave cinema. “Maamannan” will be the actor’s last film so far, but he listens to a few scripts and is not satisfied with that.

After “Karnan”, Udhayanidhi hired Mari Selvaraj to direct a film about him, and the director also kept the film with Dhruv to start a new film with the actor. The duo then collaborated on “Maamanna” and Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Vadivelu starred in the lead roles. Udhayanidhi also assured that “Maamannan” will definitely create controversy and the film has a political connection.

Udhayanidhi then shared about “Nenjukku Needhi”, the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster “The Article 15”, and said that the group added a montage song and two characters to the original version to suit the Tamil audience.

Udhayanidhi then asked the big stars of Tamil cinema to have a lower fee for their films, as 65% of the film’s budget now goes to their salary. He went on to explain that Yash’s average salary for “KGF” was the film’s huge success, citing the film as an example of a successful film.

Udhayanidhi Stalin’s “Neenjuku Needhi” will be released on May 20, and the actor will also star in an untitled film with Magizh Thirumeni and Maamannan with Mari Selvaraj.
