His latest poster The long-awaited Monster of Vijay was revealed on Friday. Also starring Pooja Hegde, the action thriller is set to hit theaters in April next year.
Sun Pictures’s Twitter page uploaded the new poster of the film to Twitter. The caption read: “Happy Nanba from the #Beast team”.

Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Beast marks Vijay’s 65th film. The film premiered earlier this year. However, filming stopped as the second wave of the coronavirus brought the country back to a dead end. Later in April of this year, Vijay and Nelson left for Georgia, where filming resumed.
Beast marks Pooja Hegde’s first film with Vijay. It also marks her return to Tamil cinema after a nine-year hiatus. The actress, who has many interesting works on her kitten, made her debut on the silver screen with the police drama Mysskin Mugamoodi in 2012.
In June of this year, the creators released posters on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday. Aside from the fans, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also looked quite impressed with Vijay’s appearance. During a “Ask Me Anything” session on Twitter, Pathan’s star was asked to comment on the Beast poster and SRK wrote: “Very nice”.
On the work front, in addition to Beast, Vijay has signed on to direct Vamshi Paidipally, which will be produced by Dil Raju.
