Actor Shah Rukh Khan confirmed the release date of his upcoming film Dunki during the success event of his latest film Jawan. According to news agency ANI, Dunki will hit theaters next Christmas or New Year. Amidst the success of Jawan and Pathaan, there have been speculations that Shah Rukh’s next film, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, may get postponed. What Shah Rukh said about Danki
In a video shared by ANI on X (formerly known as Twitter), Shah Rukh said, “God was very kind to us with Pathaan. God was even kinder to Jawan and I always say that. We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), is a good day.On Janmashtami, Krishnaji’s birthday, we released this film (Jawan).
“Now New Year and Christmas is around the corner, we will release Dunki. I am maintaining national integration. Anyway, when my film releases, it is Eid. I am working hard, working harder than I have worked in the last 29 years. I will continue to work hard because now I am happiest when people are happy after watching the movie,” he also added.

The Rajkumar Hirani film also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Dunki marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh, Rajkumar and Taapsee. Vicky Kaushal and Dharmendra also have pivotal roles in the film according to ANI.
Shah Rukh was last seen in Jaawan
Shah Rukh’s Jawan has been labeled a blockbuster by fans. The film has already been cut ₹410.88 crore at the domestic box office. The film hit theaters on September 7. Apart from Shah Rukh, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya among others.
