The production of Yash Raj Films will soon see six of its films screened on Amazon Prime Video. The long-awaited Bollywood movies under the banner will soon be available on Amazon Prime Video, the Over the Top platform.
The OTT platform has signed a production agreement with Yash Raj Films for Shamshera, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Prithviraj, Jayesh Bhai Jordaar and two films Khan Tiger 3 and Pathaan. The movies will be released on Amazon Prime Video four weeks after their release in theaters without Pathaan, and Tiger 3 which will be released 8 weeks after their release in theaters!
According to various sources, Amazon Prime has paid an amount of Rs. 200 Cr will receive streaming rights for two of the most anticipated Pathaan and Tiger 3 films. The films are currently in production and are expected to be released in the second half of 2022.
Gaurav Gandhi, head of the Amazon Prime Video province, said in an interview that Amazon is currently trying to focus exclusively on the biggest and most entertaining movies and a deal with YRF is a step in the right direction.
Speaking of movies that have been sealed for streaming on Amazon Prime, the most anticipated is Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathan”, which is the superstar’s comeback movie after almost 3 years.

Pathan
In addition to King Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is a typical action movie with the role of a gangster played by John Abraham, who is the most wanted on the list of cops! Salman Khan is supposed to play a cameo role in the film.
Tiger 3
Khan’s next film is Tiger 3 which is the sequel to Salman Khan’s previous Tiger films! The film restores the original cast of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, playing the previous roles of RAW and ISI agents respectively, and Emraan Hashmi also plays a central role.
Bunty Aur Bable 2
Bunty Aur Bably 2 is a sequel to its original creation in 2005 with the overthrow of Abhishek Bachhan who is being replaced by Saif Ali Khan this time. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh, who are supposed to be the real Bunty, and Bubbly, who star in the film. The film is expected to be released on November 19, 2021.
Prithviraj
The “Prithviraj” of the 12th century ruler highlights the newcomer, former Miss Universe, Manushi Chillar who plays the role of Prithviraj’s wife, Sanyogita, while the role of the same name is played by Akshay Kumar. The film is expected to be released next year on January 21, 2022.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar
Directed by Divyang Thakkar, “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” is a comedy starring Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey. The film will be released on February 25, 2022.
shamshera
And the last one is Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra, with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role in the film. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the film. “Shamshera” is said to be released on March 18, 2022.
Although it was previously reported that Aditya Chopra had rejected the 200 Cr deal, reports have now been confirmed that it has been accepted.
