Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are preparing for the release of their upcoming film 83. During an interview, director Kabir Khan revealed that when Deepika first watched the film she was moved and called him.
Kabir revealed that Deepika called him and there was no sound, so he thought she called him by mistake. “I thought he called me by mistake because I was saying ‘Deepika, Hello’ and there was silence. “He could not speak, he was drowning,” he told the Bollywood Bubble.
Kabir continued, “He said, ‘I’m very sorry, very sorry, I’m very shocked, I can not speak,’ and I said, ‘Deepika, you do not need to say anything more.’ “What you said on this line and the way you said it, I know exactly how you felt about the film.”
Ranveer and Deepika’s 83 will hit theaters on December 24 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Canada and Malayalam. Prior to the film’s grand premiere, the 83 trailer aired at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. While the trailer was playing in the building, Ranveer watched it with Kabir, his wife Mini Mathur, Deepika and Kapil Dev.
