ETimes had brought you the buzz that Fatima has trouble adjusting to the dates of this project. The film was due to hit theaters in August 2021 but has been delayed. Fatima had set dates for the month of August and, apparently, they were lost. Buzz is, the shoot was finally scheduled for November 20 (tomorrow) and this is where Fatima expressed inability to enjoy it.
Fatima had even started preparing for the role and had participated in several readings with E Niwas. But now, E Niwas will have to start again from scratch.
Some time ago, E Niwas and Fatima were both very excited about this project.
E Niwas said in a statement, “Aruvi is not just a hero story. It is a triumph over the labyrinths of life. It is utterly euphoric and privileged to explore one of the most beautiful movie characters I have ever met. “Fatima Sana Shaikh is a perfect choice and I’m very excited to work with Applause Entertainment and Faith Films.”
Fatima had said, “I’m so excited to do the ‘Aruvi’ remake and I’re really looking forward to diving deep into the character’s skin. “I’m very happy that Applause Entertainment and Faith Films have come with E Niwas to make this great content and I’m really excited to start this journey.”
We texted E Niwas asking him to talk about it, but he chose to remain unavailable for comment. Our calls also went unanswered.
For those who came late, Fatima had signed on to repeat the fiery role played by Aditi Balan in the original.
