Kashmir Files, released on March 11, has received ₹250 crore at the box office and became one of the biggest hits of recent times. The film is based on the departure of the Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley in the early 1990s. Starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar and others. Abhishek then clarified that his opinion is not based on personal experience as he has not seen the film but from interactions with others. “Again, I’m not in a position to say why I’ve not seen the movie. But I’ve not met anyone who says it’s a bad movie. That’s the only true movie. If a movie does a good job, it has to “It’s a good movie,” he added.
Vivek Agnihotri shared part of the interview on Twitter on Friday, while writing, “Thank you @juniorbachchan for your kindness.” Abhishek even responded to Vivek’s tweet and promised to watch the movie soon. “I look forward to seeing the film at the earliest. Best wishes,” Vivek wrote in response.
