Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi shared the big screen with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for the first time in godfather. The film is a remake of the Mohanlal starrer Lucifer and the film features Khan in a central role. After Salman shared a video note expressing his sympathy for Siranjeevi, the South star responded to it in yet another video thanking Sallu Bhai for being a part of the film. He also added that the character of late Masood Bhai was the driving force in the film.

Readers will know that The Godfather has received positive and rave reviews from audiences. Talking about Salman Khan being associated with the film, Chiranjeevi posted a video on Instagram with a caption saying, “Thank you Sallu bhai @beingsalmankhan !! @alwaysramcharan #godfather” As for the video, Chiranjeevi says, “Thank you dear Sallu Bhai and congratulations to you too. Because Masood Bhai is the force behind the phenomenal success of GodFather. Thank you and I love you very much. Go to Mataram.” He also gave his beloved girlfriend a kiss.
This video comes after Salman Khan dedicated a heartfelt video to the South superstar on Instagram. He had said, “My dear Chiru Garu, I love you and I heard that the godfather is doing very well. Congratulations! God bless you. You know why Chiru Garu, because this country and its citizens are very strong, Vande Mataram. He had captioned the video, saying: “#Godfather @alwaysramcharan @chiranjeevikonidela.” Interestingly, Chiranjeevi had also revealed earlier that Salman Khan did not charge a single penny for this film.
Directed by Mohan Raja, godfather It also stars Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana in lead roles with music composed by S. Thaman. Released on October 5, 2022. Speaking of its Malayalam counterpart Luciferthe film was directed by actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran and featured Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi among others and was released on 28 March 2019.
