Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Chakda Xpress. After shooting in the UK, the actress started the film’s schedule in Kolkata a few weeks back. Recently, he completed the latest program. While shooting in the city of joy, Anushka visited many iconic places and ate traditional delicacies there.

Sharing pictures from her trip to Kolkata with her daughter Vamika, Sharma snapped a picture and captioned it that read ‘Eat-Pray-Love’. The actress threw Aliah phirni, Balwant singh ki chai, samosa, Mithai ke baked and regular rasgulle, Paramount ke sherbet, Girishch dey malaai roll and Puti ram ki kachori aloo. Interestingly, she also visited the math and Kalighat temple in Belur with her daughter Vamika.
After the program ended, the actress-turned-entrepreneur said, “Kolkata has always held a very special place in my heart. The warmth of the city and the people, the delicious food, the beautiful architecture – I love everything about Kolkata and it’s a pleasure to be back in the city of joy for Chakda Xpress“, in a statement.
The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi The actress added, “The last time I shot a film here was for Paris and I have quite a few fond memories of shooting that project here. I had also shot the video of his announcement Chakda Xpress at Eden Gardens and Jhulan had passed for the same. It was amazing to have her on set and interact with her. She is such a positive soul. So coming back here is like a life-completion for me and the team.”
For those unfamiliar, the upcoming Netflix original film will follow the glorious journey of one of the fastest female pacers in the history of world cricket, Jhulan Goswami. It will show how she climbed the ladder despite countless obstacles to fulfill her one and only dream: to play cricket.
