Ayodhya seer Mahant Paramhans Das of Tapasvi Chhavni performed the symbolic ‘tehraveen’ ritual of actor Shah Rukh Khan on Monday.
He said that ‘tehraveen’ would mean the end of ‘jihad’ which the actor was propagating through his films.
Last week, the fortune teller had burnt posters of Shah Rukh Khan and warned that if he met him, he would burn the actor alive.
On Monday, the seer sat with an earthen pot, surrounded by a handful of supporters, and dropped it on the ground after reciting some mantras.
“I request people to set fire to those theaters where ‘Pathaan’ will be screened. Bollywood and Hollywood are constantly trying to find ways to mock Sanatan Dharma and insult Hindu gods and goddesses. In the movie Pathan, Deepika Padukone wore a bikini which hurt the religious sentiments of the saints and the entire country. Shah Rukh Khan constantly makes fun of Sanatan Dharma. What was the need to wear a saffron bikini and take such steps in the song?’ asked.
