While we don’t have any cast or crew details, we do have a few new dates to report on the highly anticipated new The fantastic four film. At Marvel’s theatrical panel during San Diego Comic-Con it was revealed that The fantastic four will be released in theaters on November 8, 2024.
As reported by io9 earlier in the year, Spiderman director John Watts was all set to take over the reins of this film but backed out for undisclosed reasons. He is currently set to direct the newest Final destination film. There has been no word on who will direct in his place.
John Krasinski, who famously auditioned for Captain America at the time, appeared as Mr. Fantastic Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, only for Wanda to unceremoniously unravel within minutes of her life being threatened. No statement has been made on whether or not he will return for the new one The fantastic four.
And speaking of things far in the future, MCU phase 6 is now is officially called the Multiverse Saga. It will include not only new The fantastic four movie, but two new ones Avengers movies: Kang Dynasty and Secret Warsthe latter was likely named for the major Marvel Comics event. (According to Kevin Feige, through Deadlinethese new Avengers movies ordinary will be directed by the Russo Brothers.)
The fantastic four will launch Phase Six of the MCU in theaters on November 8, 2024.
