Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]July 24 (ANI): Actress Sanah Kapur dropped the teaser and announced the release date of her upcoming quirky comedy ‘Saroj ka Rishta’.
On Saturday, the ‘Shaandaar’ actress took to Instagram and shared the teaser along with the caption, “Super excited for the teaser of #SarojKaRishta releasing on 16th September 2022.”
Actor Sanah Kapur plays the titular role of Saroj in the film. The quirky and action-packed teaser of ‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ was released on Friday at the Crescent Tower in Mumbai.
The teaser shows Saroj’s carefree attitude towards life, who is not bothered about her weight at all and believes in living life to the fullest. She’s shrill, she’s bubbly, she’s funny, she’s outgoing, and she’s not afraid to say his name. Saroj’s character from the upcoming movie ‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ has a body weight of 120 kg but no one reminds her of her looks and looks and even she is not aware of her looks. He confidently roams freely in the city of Ghaziabad where he lives and believes in enjoying life.
The teaser of the film is garnering positive responses from all quarters, which has been overwhelming for the lead cast and crew of the film.
Presented by Miicall “Saroj Ka Rishta” has been graced by Abhishek Saxena. The film also stars Randeep Rai, Gaurav Pandey, Kumud Mishra who plays Saroj aka Sanah Kapur’s father in the film. Interestingly, Sanah Kapur made her acting debut with the movie ‘Shaandar’ in which she starred alongside her real-life brother Shahid Kapur and real-life father Pankaj Kapur. In ‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ Kumud Mishra and Sanah Kapur share a beautiful bond as father and daughter.
Sanah Kapur in an interview after the release of ‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ teaser said that “I really like to watch feel good cinema and this is also a good film. My favorite genre of Bollywood is romantic comedy and I loved doing ‘Saroj Ki Rishta’ which is also a romantic comedy. As you all have loved the teaser, I am sure you people will love this movie too.”
Talking about the response to the film’s teaser, Shahid Kapoor’s step-sister said, “I’m glad people have really loved the film’s teaser. I love my character so much in the film. I’m sure once the film hits the theatres, people will love her more. I am eagerly waiting for the release of the film.”
She also shared that her character in the film is such that she doesn’t care what people think of her as she feels she is “perfect” in her mind, whether people think the same or not. He says that we should define ‘perfection’ for ourselves and should not adhere to other people’s idea of perfection and that is the message of our film.
The film’s director Abhishek Saxena also said in a statement that “The mindset about overweight people needs to change. They are all normal people like us, but in our film, we are not trying to be preachy about the issue and focus more on the relationship father and daughter”.
