Govinda Naam Mera will be released on June 10 next year. Vicky Kaushal co-stars with Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in the film.
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has just announced a new film, Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal. While Vicky Kaushal has been chosen as Govinda Waghmare, Bhumi Pednekar has been defined as his “hot wife” Mrs. Waghmare and Kiara Advani as his “naughty girlfriend”. Sharing Vicky Kaushal’s first poster as Govinda Waghmare, Karan Johar wrote on Twitter: “Meet Govinda Waghmare! “Heart of Gold and the dance moves are bold!”

Both Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani have retro idols on the movie posters at first glance, as does Vicky Kaushal. Govinda Naam Mera will be written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, whose film Mr Lele, with a similar theme, was released last year. Govinda Naam Mera seems to be an updated version of Mr Lele, starring Varun Dhawan.
Just months before Mr Lele finally retired last year, Shashank Khaitan made the announcement in a tweet: “Hello guys, here is an update on Mr Lele.
