After 14 seasons on TV and an animated feature film, rumors have fans believing that Bob's Burgers is moving towards a live performance in 2024.
Bob's Burgers Getting A Live-Action Remake For 2024?
A viral Facebook campaign led many fans to believe that Fox's hit animated series, Bob's Burgerswill be remade as a live-action film premiering in 2024.
The poster in question features Star Wars trilogy star Adam Driver in the lead role of Bob Belcher, sporting his wavy hair and mustache from the animated series. The poster also features comedy legend Tina Fey, who would play Bob's wife Linda.
Along with the poster was a synopsis for the supposed live-action film, which teases Driver and Faye being cast as Bob and Linda Belcher in a story with “a mix of laughter, heart and burgers” made for “fans and newcomers.”
Bob's Burgers creator Loren Bouchard ended any hope of a live-action episode or movie, noting that the team would “I want to do it very carefully” at WonderCon 2022 in San Francisco (resp CinemaBlend):
“I've loved the Rotoscope stuff since I was a kid. I love 'Lord of The Rings' and 'American Pop' especially. It would be absolutely weird to do it at 'Bob's.' It's so much fun to tweak, to break it slightly without breaking it all the way. You want to do it very carefully. You want fans to get a new thing that lights up a new part of their brain that doesn't make them want to bring it back to the store and get their money back.” .
Bob's Burgers H. Voice stars Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, and Larry Murphy then gave their entertaining responses to the idea of a live-action movie, noting John Goodman, Rosie O'Donnell, and Tony Shalhoub as possible star candidates.
While there is no indication that this is live-action Bob's Burgers With the film set to begin production soon, fans have been pitching ideas on how this endeavor could go for the past few years.
The Changers YouTube The channel released a video in February 2023 that envisioned a live-action film starring Nick Offerman as Bob Belcher and Molly Shannon as Linda Belcher, with other stars including Paul Dano, Aubrey Plaza and Jonah Hill.
Currently, Bob's Burgers is in its 14th season, which returns to Fox on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The series is also being renewed for a 15th season, and there are no official plans for a live-action remake.
