Jawan shows no signs of stopping
Shah Rukh Khan’s second big hit of the year after Pathan, which collected over 1050 crore worldwide, is Jawan. This film has achieved a remarkable feat by crossing the Rs 350 crore mark in net earnings within India, setting a new record as the fastest film to reach this milestone. He even surpassed his own superstardom Pathan and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 from this point of view.

Directed by famous Tamil director Atlee, Jawan had a worldwide release on 7 September, premiering in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. This high-octane action thriller also features a star-studded cast including Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi along with a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. At its core, the film is a father-son narrative that deftly deals with various social and political issues through its protagonist, played by Shah Rukh Khan.
The ensemble cast includes Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra and even Sanjay Dutt in a cameo.
