Jennifer Robertson compares her role as Jocelyn in “Schitt’s Creek” to her new Netflix movie

by Stewart Cole

Vancouver-born actress Jennifer Robertson rose to fame after playing Jocelyn Sit in Schitt’s Creek and has starred in many other hits.

Her latest role is Lisa in the new Netflix movie, Single All The Way.

This moving Christmas movie is also Netflix’s first romantic holiday comedy.

Robertson plays Peter’s sister, the main character, and works with the rest of the family to help him find love after too many awful dates.

Roberston spoke with Narcissus in an interview about how she grew up in Vancouver and how her role in this new film compares to her previous roles on screen.

He said that this character, Lisa, is “a little more vocal and a little more intense than Jocelyn”, her character from Schitt’s Creek.

“Although Jocelyn’s energy was frantic, Lisa is much more substantial,” he added.

Jocelyn inside Schitt’s Creek is married to the city’s iconic mayor, Roland Schitt. The two of them make a hilarious couple that is super eccentric and weird, but you also can not help but love them.

Where Jocelyn can take a minute to warm up, Lisa is an immediate relative in the movie.

Robertson describes her recent character as “someone give me a glass of wine.”

While we all love (and miss!) Jocelyn Schitt, this new movie will put you in the same mood as Schitt’s Creek he always manages to do.

Time to relax and dive into the holiday movies!
