Why Mira Rajput prefers Bollywood to Hollywood

In the midst of the Barbie vs. Oppenheimer feud, Mira chose to watch Barbie on Monday and shared her mini-critique on social media. Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote: “Hollywood this…Hollywood this. Well Hollywood can’t sing and dance like Bollywood.” He recently returned to India after a vacation from Greece.

In this Bollywood wife’s opinion, Barbie clearly failed against Bollywood standards. As the dance numbers that Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie could not match the kind of choreography that Bollywood manages to produce. Moreover, Shahid Kapoor is also known for his dancing skills.

Barbie is taking the world by storm

Barbie has taken the world by storm, wowing audiences around the world. In its opening weekend alone, the film earned $155 million, setting itself on a path to success. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the film has become the biggest opening ever for a film directed by a woman.

Gerwig is known for her previous works such as; Lady Bird and Little women and has also won Oscar recognition for her directorial prowess. Although Barbie faced Christopher Nolan Oppenheimer at the box office, outperforming its competitor in terms of monetary success.

The film also broke records by becoming the highest grossing film for the first weekend of the year. According to day 4 box office numbers, Barbie collected Rs 2.5 crore in India, taking its total collection in India to Rs 21.15 crore. Secondly, Oppenheimer it has also performed quite well in India, earning double digits at the box office. As of now, the Christopher Nolan film has managed to collect Rs 55.86 crore in India, making the country the 3rd largest contributor to its global box office collection.
