Mohanlal was recently seen in Beast. He has signed a project that has caught the attention of many Mollywood fans. While the superstar enjoys his huge fan following, it seems the actor has given his fans a special treat by piquing their curiosity for what’s next. He has announced his next film with Angamaly Calendars filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellisery and also shared details on social media.

While not revealing the title or genre, giving a glimpse of the film’s team, Mohanlal announced his collaboration with Lijo Jose Pellisery on Instagram. She poses for a photo with him Jallikattu Director Mohanlal captioned the photo with details about his next, adding, “I am delighted to announce that my next project will be with one of the most exciting and incredibly talented directors in Indian cinema – Lijo Jose Pellissery. The project will be produced by John and Mary Creative, Max Labs and Century Films. @lijo_lebowski @johnandmary.creative @shibu_babyjohn @centuryfilms.in @achubjohn.”
On the other hand, Lijo also expressed his happiness at joining hands with the megastar by adding a message in Malayalam on Instagram. He said, “(Translation) I am happy to share the news that the next Lalettan film will be produced by Mary and John Creative, Max Labs and Century Films. I will direct it. I love you all. Happiness. Irene.”
Although the genre has not been revealed, the film is said to be an action thriller. Interestingly, Mohanlal’s last release Monster was also an action drama. Talking about his next projects, the superstar is expected to take up his franchise Drishyam with a third dose and Lucifer with a second dose. He also recently completed his work on Jeetu Joseph Plunger.
