New TV shows and movies added

Paramount Plus new TV and film releases for January 15-21, 2024 include the documentary JUNE and drama series The Woman on the Wall.

From January 16, viewers can watch the documentary JUNE, which will chronicle the life and career of the influential musician and singer, June Carter Cash, the second wife of the also famous musician and singer Johnny Cash. In accordance with teaser released a week earlier, the documentary will use archival footage and interviews to explore June's life and also explain how she felt living in the shadow of her famous husband Johnny. The documentary will also feature interviews with various other members of her family and loved ones. The documentary will also see appearances by several other celebrities including Dolly Parton, Ronnie Dunn, Larry Gatlin, Robert Duvall and Reese Witherspoon, who played Carter in the 2005 biopic Walk the Line.

Then on January 19, viewers can start watching The Woman in the Wall. This drama series launched on BBC One in August 2023 and was created by Joe Murtagh. The story follows Lorna Brady, a young woman who suffers from trauma-induced sleepwalking. Lorna's life is turned upside down when she unexpectedly comes across a dead body in her home. The series stars Ruth Wilson as Brady alongside a supporting cast including Daryl McCormack, Simon Delaney, Philippa Dunne, Mark Huberman, Hilda Fay and Stephen Brennan.

The other two releases on Paramount Plus during this week include Season 1 of Aerial Argentina and The Stanford Prison Experiment.
