According DeadlineZoë Kravitz's upcoming directorial debut has received a brand new title from Amazon MGM Studios.
Originally titled Pussy Island, the thriller starring Channing Tatum now officially has a title It flashes twice. In addition, Amazon MGM Studios also confirmed that Blink Twice will hit theaters on August 23, 2024. The film's release date will debut in the same month as other high-profile projects, including Borderlands, Alien: Romulus, and the Kraven the Hunter.
What to expect from Zoë Kravitz's directorial debut?
“In Blink Twice, tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frieda at his fundraising gala and sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation to his private island,” the synopsis reads. “It's heaven. Wild nights are mixed with sunny days and a great time is had by all. No one wants this journey to end, but as strange things begin to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. Something is wrong with this place. She'll have to reveal the truth if she wants to get out of this party alive.”
In addition to directing, Kravitz co-wrote the screenplay with ET Feigenbaum (High Fidelity). Blink Twice will also star Naomi Ackie, Christian Slater, Geena Davis, Adria Arjona, Simon Rex, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan and Alia Shawkat.
