Uncharted – as we say, the film adaptation starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg — takes its own ride. Yes, the somewhat divisive film will soon be turned into a theme park, where you can feel the same thrills as Nathan Drake himself. Well, we guess.
Spanish entertainment resort PortAventura World made the announcement today on social media:
There are no details on the ride itself, only that it is set to open in 2023. It makes sense in a way that there Uncharted ride to that particular destination, as much of the film takes place and was shot in Spain.
It also speaks to the film’s success that it is moving forward. The movement it didn’t land too well critically, but viewers didn’t necessarily agreebut despite the mixed reception, it did one of the highest grossing video game adaptations ever made.
Well, there you go. There will soon be a ride based on the movie based on the Uncharted games. We wonder how many degrees of separation can we reach? Maybe someone will start a webcomic based on the ride.
Anyway, what do you think? You’ll head to PortAventura World to give it a go Uncharted take a spin? You must be this high to enter the comment section below.
