Ron’s Gone Wrong Streaming on HBO, Disney + Under Revised Fox Film Pact

HBO Max will take over the Fox movie for the last year – as part of an unusual deal to share windows streaming with Disney Plus and Hulu for half the studio titles, starting with the family animated comedy ” Ron’s Gone Wrong “next month.

Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution and WarnerMedia have modified their current production agreement for films from Fox (renamed 20th Century Studios) to HBO / HBO Max, which runs until 2022.

Under the amended pact, HBO / HBO Max will share the exclusive rights with Disney Plus and Hulu in a selection of titles from 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures. HBO / HBO Max will maintain the exclusivity of the TV window with a subscription one in about half until 2022.

In addition, Disney has agreed to speed up the launch of the pay-one window for 20th Century Studios movies on HBO / HBO Max, while still honoring the exclusive theaters previously announced. “Ron’s Gone Wrong” is the first film to be available on both HBO Max and Disney Plus, which is expected to premiere on both services from December 15.
