Shamshera director reacts to the appearance of Ranbir Kapoor in a movie that leaked on the internet

Hours after the leak of Ranbir Kapoor’s first appearance from Shamshera’s upcoming poster film, film director Karan Malhotra reacted. In a new interview, Karan said he is happy that Ranbir fans “love his look and the Shamshera poster”. He also revealed that the Shamshera team wanted to start the campaign next week. Ranbir was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju (2018). The film follows the life of actor Sanjay Dutt, with an essay by Ranbir. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Jim Sarbh.

Speaking to ANI news agency, Karan told Shamshera, “We continue to plan our lives to land things at the perfect time, but in doing so we forget that the Universe is always on time. In the leaked Shamshera poster, Ranbir depicts a rough look with long hair and a beard. He has a stern expression on his face and poses with an ax. Fans will see him as a beastly dachshund in the movie. Shamshera takes place in the fictional city of Kaza, where a tribe of warriors is imprisoned, enslaved and tortured by a ruthless authoritarian general Shudh Singh.

It is the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who became a leader and then a legend about his race. He fights relentlessly for the freedom and dignity of his race. With Heled by Karan, Shamshera was created by Aditya Chopra. The film is set to be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on July 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, Ranbir will also be seen with Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ranjan’s next untitled romantic comedy. The film also stars Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia and is expected to be released on Holi next year.
