Popular South Indian actress Shruti Haasan has finally reacted to reports claiming that she missed the pre-release event of her new film Waltair Veerayya due to her mental health issues. For the uninitiated, there were reports stating that Shruti was not 100% during the film’s overseas schedule. The gorgeous diva finally took to social media and spoke her heart out about the reports and shared snaps from some of the news stories that supported her mental issues. He wrote “Nice try!! And thanks to you, I’m recovering well from my viral fever.”

Shruti also wrote a long note in another screenshot where she talked about the importance of talking about mental health sensitively. “Ok so here’s the thing, misinformation like this and the over dramatization or flippant handling of such issues is what makes people afraid to talk about mental health… Guess what? Not working. I will always be an advocate for mental health and always promote self care in all aspects. Oh and… I had a viral fever, so nice try to get over yourself and while you’re at it, talk to a therapist. Not really, please.
Later, he even shared a photo of her lying in bed and wrote: “Thank you for all the love yesterday, still so sad I couldn’t make it for the big launch. .
Waltair Veerayya is a Telugu film featuring Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja in an important role. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and co-produced by GK Mohan. The film will release on January 13. Shruti Haasan currently appearing in Telugu movie Veera Simha Reddy together Nandamuri Balakrishna.
