This year will finally bring its premiere The lightning film, the long-running cinematic showcase for Barry Allen / The Flash. At the helm of the project is director Andy Muschietti, who has shared some very interesting behind-the-scenes looks at the film since production began. During the weekend, and with the film’s first trailer reportedly a month away, Muschietti took to social media to share a look at what appears to be one of the film’s Central City sets, as he holds a lightning emblem in his hand.
“We’re bringing the lightning soon #theflashmovie,” Muschietti’s caption reads.
What is The lightning movie about?
In The lightningBarry Allen travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, which brings unintended consequences to his timeline. The lightning is set to be directed by THE‘s Muschietti, scripted by Birds of Prey and Batgirl’s Christina Hodgson. It will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s iterations of Bruce Wayne / Batman, as well as Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu as Nora Allen. , Ian Loh as a young Barry Allen, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso are playing currently undisclosed roles.
“In one way, I would say that there are some villains, or so-called villains, that are in our film. And then in another way, I would say that there are no villains in a way that is part of the exploration and the message of the film. ”, Miller explained during DC FanDome in October 2021. “I’ll say these things because together they don’t make any sense, and it leaves everything somewhat cryptic and mysterious.
