The Isekai Quartet returns with a new feature film and confirmed its release date with a new trailer and poster! The Isekai Quartet has been one of Kadokawa’s most exciting experiments in recent years. Taking five of the most popular light anime covers with Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World !, Saga of Tanya the Evil, Re: Zero -Starting Life in Another World-, The Rising of the Shield Hero and Overlord all combined into one a whole new kind of world. By the end of the second season, it was revealed that the anime would continue with a feature film.
Surprising fans of the first two seasons that the anime would be back for a new movie, it was previously confirmed that Isekai Quartet: Another world would be coming to Japan sometime this summer. With the latest poster and trailer for the upcoming film, it has now been confirmed that the film will start its screening in Japan from June 10. Confirming the returning staff and cast, Isekai Quartet: Another World will be signed and directed by Minoru Ashina, Minoru Takehara will design the characters and the animated director and animation will be produced by Studio Puyukai. As the trailer and poster tease, the cast of the five series will be transported to another different world through a sudden gateway and will encounter three new enemies who share some similarities with some of the respective villains in each series.
New casts for the film include Minami Tanaka as Pantagruel, the mysterious girl with the eye (this seems to be a reference to Konosuba), Nana Mizuki as Vera Mitrohina, a soldier wearing a similar military uniform Epic of Tania of EviL soldiers, and Toshiyuki Morikawa as Alec, who shares some design similarities Re: Zero -Starting Life in Another World-his characters.
