We are fast approaching the new Scream movie theater January 14, 2022 release date in theaters and just one month left before fans will see Ghostface go through another cast of characters on the big screen, the new ScreamHis latest poster has been released on the internet. IGN took the first look at the poster, which you can see below.
The release of this poster launches the social media event “12 Screams for the Holidays”, which will see a new exclusive Scream surprise “that circulates daily for the next twelve days. If you want to watch the holiday screams, follow the Scream Movies social networking accounts at Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
This Scream Our “legacy-quel” comes from Ready or not (Look at it HERE) directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The screenplay was written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Vanderbilt also produced the film for Project X Entertainment, alongside Paul Neinstein and William Sherak. Chad Villella, Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Ron Lynch, Cathy Konrad and Marianne Maddalena are executive producers along with the original Scream author Kevin Williamson.
The film has the following synopsis:
Twenty-five years after a series of brutal murders that rocked the quiet city of Woodsboro, a young assassin wears the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the city’s deadly past.

Franchise stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette return as Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley. Scream Marley Shelton, 4, also returns as Judy Hicks. Newcomers to the franchise include Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Kyle Gallner and Sonia Ammar.
