The director does not want to reveal anything before the release and therefore kept it a secret and even the editing team can not say anything. There is no doubt that after Baahubali 1 and 2, RRR is the biggest film ever made in India. The film features creative personalities from all over the nation, including JR NTR and Ram Charan from the South and Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt from Bollywood. Despite releasing 2 songs and a teaser for the film, SS Rajamouli managed to keep the audience excited as nothing has been revealed much in any of the content that has been released so far.
Is this the conscious decision of the director not to reveal much until the release of the trailer? The trailer launch will be one of the biggest events and trailer launches of the year, because after the pandemic, it is the first time that the Bollywood and South industries are coming together to launch something. Prior to the release of the movie trailer, the filmmakers kept the audience dedicated and stuck, releasing some posters, a short teaser and two songs, one of which is the last song entitled ‘Gianani’, the soul of the film.
RRR is a fictional story about two Indian rebels, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Apart from that, there are many details that are not revealed, such as the character of Ajay and Alia for a start, even the song Janani does not give a clear picture of the film or their characters. As the story will be emotional but full of a lot of action and drama and plus the scale that has been created is so huge that the creators want the audience to enjoy the visual arts in theaters.
The director is very good at keeping things secret as he did in his second part Baahubali and after its success it is safe to say that even RRR is going to surprise us in many ways.
Position of Baahubali success, SS Rajamouli became nationally famous, made another large-scale film and is about to break many records. RRR includes a series of stars in addition to starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris will appear in key roles while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody will play supporting roles.
PEN Studios’ Jayanti Lal Gada has acquired theatrical distribution rights throughout North India and has also purchased electronic rights worldwide for all languages. Pen Marudhar will distribute the film in the Northern Territory. The Telugu action drama film is produced by DVV Entertainments’ DVV Danayya. RRR Released on January 7, 2022.
