Veteran actor Anupam Kher said Sunday that he has begun work on his 525th play, which he described as “a beautiful story of a common man”.
The 67-year-old actor, who began his career with the 1984 film Saaransh, said the group has not yet finalized the name of the upcoming project and asked his fans to choose one of the following options for the title – The Last Signature , Sarthak, Nirnay and Dastakhat.
“Today I start the landmark 525th project of my career. A beautiful story of an ordinary man. We have not yet decided on the title of the film.
“Our producer, our director and I have different titles. So, we came up with ideas, and to see them flush it out, it’s really fun. Please help us! In another note, I have a long time. Thanks to your love, appreciation and blessings! Jay Ho! ” Kher wrote on Instagram.

In his nearly four-year career, Anupam Kher, a graduate of the National Drama School (NSD), has appeared in Hindi films such as Ram Lakhan, Lamhe, Khel, Darr, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Daddy, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara, Vijay, A Wednesday and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Some of his international works include films such as Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice, Silver Linings Playbook, The Big Sick and The Boy With The Topknot. He has also starred in the series Sense 8 and New Amsterdam.
