To honor this past Saturday’s “Batman Day,” director Zack Snyder took to Vero to share a photo of Ben Affleck’s Armored Dark Knight from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Check it out!
Saturday was ‘Batman Day’ and if we’re being honest, it was a bit uneventful. With Batman 2 still in the writing stages and with those HBO Max spinoffs a long way off, there wasn’t much for Warner Bros. to share. Discovery. Even the long-awaited one Batman: Caped Crusader The animated series is currently being shopped to other streamers!
2023 looks set to be a better year for DC Comics’ iconic superhero, as we’ll see both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton don the cape and cowl in various projects (The lightning and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomfor beginners).
One person who made sure to celebrate Batman Day was Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceand Justice League director Zack Snyder. Taking to Vero, the director shared a never-before-seen photo of Ben Affleck wearing the Frank Miller-inspired armor. The Dark Knight returns.

While the latter was once expected to serve as a farewell to his Batman, the fact that he agreed to take part in reshoots for Aquaman Continuity has suggested that he may be planning to stay. Unfortunately, no one seems to know if the plan is to go ahead with a Crisis on Infinite Earths fact, especially in the wake of those Ezra Miller controversies.
