Dragon Ball Super The creator of the original series explains why Gohan and Piccolo will have the main team for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film! There are only surprises since the new film was first announced. Not only did Toriyama start working on the second Dragon Ball Super movie before Dragon Ball Super: Broly even in theaters, but this new project will be the first fully 3D animated film in the franchise as a whole. However, fans were curious as to why Gohan and Piccolo seem to be taking the lead in the action and the fights this time around.
Speaking to the official Dragon Ball WebsiteToriyama talked about why Gohan and Piccolo are the main cast for the new film as he explained that Gohan has not played a major role in a long time, “Gohan is actually stronger than anyone … or so it’s called , but lately it does not really have a chance to shine.
“To motivate Gohan, you need Piccolo’s respected teacher rather than Goku’s father,” Toriyama continued before concluding: . battles with Gamma androids. ” With the teasing of both Gohan and Piccolo reaching new levels of power only because of his nature taking on leading roles in the next film, it is clear that Toriyama has really done everything for their great team!
