This film has had many ups and downs since it was announced. Initially, Kriti Sanon was finalized as the first to side with Salman Khan, but all this was a thing of the past when producer Sajid Nadiadwala began to retire from the project. Salman soon took over the production, but experts believe that Sajid’s name may still be in the titles.
Then came the big fiasco where Aayush left the project due to creative differences. Lekin hua kya tha; What were these creative differences that were advertised as the reason for Aayush’s departure?
ETimes now understands – again FIRST and EXCLUSIVE – that these creative differences were that Aayush wanted more dialogue in the film than just being on screen. Apparently, he felt that he had left a strong impact on the audience with his gray avatar in “Antim” and the role in “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali” would not justify the development he had achieved.
Let us also tell you that Aayush was supposed to play Salman’s brother in the movie. “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali” will include the character of Salman who has two brothers. The other brother was supposed to play Zaheer Iqbal. However, it is not known why Zaheer is no longer in the film.
Aayush spoke to Salman and even to Farhad. But Farhad was of the opinion that since “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali” is at least inspired by the remake of the Southern movie “Veeram”, they should have stayed longer in the original rather than having too many modifications.
Are Aayush and Salman talking now? Yes it is. Aayush left the movie with a lot of grace and there is no animosity between Arpita’s husband and brother. In fact, they were together for quite some time at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday party.
