AEW star Swerve Strickland (fka Isiah “Swerve” Scott at WWE) continued to make waves in the world of professional wrestling and entertainment. Along with regular appearances on AEW, New Japan and other indie promotions, a rap album was recently released on Spotify.
Another work Swerve is working on has been revealed, and this is a new horror film called “You Promised”, written and directed by Matthew Hersh.
“Oh yes, I forgot to mention. I’m making a horror movie too! ” Swerve writes on Instagram. “From Dallas making his debut for @ringofhonor #supercardofhonor to Vegas at #grammys and then @aewontv in Boston, Los Angeles to work at @youpromisedfilm. Keeping up with me is difficult. The E program has also been moved 🐌 ”
Swerve included some videos with his post showing the set he works on, as well as some action shots dragging him by the throat. He explains that keeping up with him is “difficult”, and it is clear that this must be the truth.
Strickland was a regular competitor in the AEW’s I run appears every Friday, with his most recent win over QT Marshall. Strickland hit a Flatliner and kicked back in the back of Marshall’s head to score last Friday night.
